Acupuncture is an ancient practice that started in China about 3000 years ago. The intent is to move energy, or qi (pronounced ‘chee’) throughout the body. A typical treatment involves inserting tiny needles into points throughout your body. These needles are so small that while you may slightly feel them going in they don't hurt much - you may not feel them at all. Acupuncture points stimulate your nervous system to tell your brain to heal. This can be healing from pain, stress, emotional issues, hormonal issues. Acupuncture is incredible - it really can help with everything. Often when we start treating one thing other areas will improve. Depending on the needs of the patient, an individual acupuncture session may also include cupping, moxibustion, gua sha, and infrared or led light therapy. Appointments are about 50 minutes long.

Cosmetic Acupuncture is a natural and safe way to accentuate your most beautiful self. Using ultra fine needles we create tiny tears in the skin, which promotes the production of collagen and elastin. This can reduce acne, fine lines and wrinkles. Each session includes a combination of facial acupuncture, low level light therapy, application of facial care products and a full body acupuncture treatment.

You’ll see a glow after your first session, but we recommend a series of 6-12 treatments to really see a difference. Combining this with micro needling yields even greater results.

Community treatments are amazing - and my preferred way to receive acupuncture - there is a lot of healing that goes on when we share space with each other. In China this is typically how acupuncture is practiced. In our clinic you are in a zero gravity recliner in our big room with other patients. There is only a brief check in with the acupuncturist. We don’t do cupping, gua sha, moxa or light therapy in the community room. These treatments are targeted towards stress & general well-being. This is a great option if your insurance doesn't cover acupuncture or if you just want a wellness tune up.

* community acupuncture is only offered during designated community acupuncture hours and is cash/check only
